Litigation Lawyer

Litigation Lawyer, 5+ Years PQE, Bedfordshire, £Competitive, National law firm – A new role has arisen for an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join a highly reputable team in Bedfordshire. JOB REF:8870.

• Applications are sought from Litigation Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 5 Years PQE gained with another reputable law firm.
• You will be responsible for a varied litigation caseload, to include boundary disputes, director disputes, enforcement of a judgment, mediation, professional Negligence and contentious probate.
• You will manage your own caseload of conducting pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments, advising clients on contentious matters, drafting pleadings, statements of case and pre-issue documentation and filing with the court and attending court and conferences with or without counsel
• Thorough understanding of the CPR, SRA policies and relevant codes of practice is essential.
• Some previous experience of supervising more junior members would be advantageous.
• It is essential that you have exceptional communication skills, attention to details and work well within a team environment.
• You should also have business development experience and be keen to assume networking and BD responsibilities.
