📍 Job Title: Evening Warehouse Operative
🕕 Hours: Monday to Friday 18:00 – 23:00
📍 Location: Birmingham
📍 Pay Rate: £12.41phr

 

✈️ About the Role:

Are you looking for a physically active role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work behind the scenes at the heart of the aviation industry.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Breaking down wooden pallets and sorting contents for further processing.
• Collecting and transporting baggage from the warehouse’s x-ray area to designated airline bins for disposal or further handling.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in line with safety and security protocols.

🛠️ Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who:

• Have previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment (preferred but not essential).
• Are physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Work well as part of a team and follow strict procedures.

🛡️ Pre-Employment Checks:

Due to the nature of this role in an aviation security environment, successful applicants must pass the following background checks:

• 5-year reference history (must be able to provide details of employment/unemployment/education over this period)
• Criminal Record Check (DBS) – any convictions must be declared
