Job Description: Concrete Breaking Operative
Position: Concrete Breaking Operative
Location: Marlborough
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hourly Rate: £15 per hour 3 Month contract
Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete breaking tasks on construction sites, including breaking and removing concrete structures.
- Safely operate breaking equipment, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations.
- Work efficiently as part of a team while adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Ensure the correct handling and disposal of materials in line with site guidelines.
- Maintain the site clean and free of hazards during and after work.
- Report any issues or potential risks to the site supervisor.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) – essential.
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate – required.
- Own transport - essential
- Previous experience in concrete breaking or similar roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Additional Information:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- £15 per hour.
- Standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
