Job Description
At Royal Mail, the festive season is our busiest time of the year, and it’s our seasonal workers who make delivering the magic of Christmas possible. As a Mail Sorter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every Christmas card and present safely reaches its destination
As a Seasonal Mail Sorter working at the heart of our team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering Christmas to the nation.
Weekly pay
On site parking
2pm-10pm - other shifts are available
Training provided
No experience needed
Must be available to work 5 out of 7 days
Immediate start available
You’ll be:
- Unloading mail and packages from our vans.
- Moving mail and packages through our centres.
- Helping sort mail and packages.
About you:
- Organised and efficient: Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to switch between tasks during a shift.
- Strength and stamina: Ability to push trolleys (up to 250kg) and lift/move mail bags (up to 11kg).
- Comfortable with extended periods of walking and standing.
- Must pass a basic DBS check
