Pertemps are delighted to be partnering with an organisation who are currently looking to add to their Finance Team. This role is initially for a period of 3 months but there is an opportunity that the role may be made permanent. The client is ideally looking for someone who has previous experience in a busy finance department or someone who has recently graduated with a BA in Accountancy who is looking to develop their career. The salary for this position is between £25k - £28k depending on experience with some fantastic benefits. You will be working in the office 5 days per week.
Reporting to the Finance Manager (Corporate), this role is responsible for processing of monthly transactions, customer billing and general accounting admin duties.
Main responsibilities- Process accruals and prepayment journals
- Review of accounts payable invoices for completeness and accuracy
- Process monthly billing to customers
- Credit Control
- Creation of bank payments
- Bank reconciliations, including posting of cash transactions
- Assisting with investigation of outstanding items in balance sheet reconciliation
- Gather evidence for internal and external audits
- Assisting wider finance team with ad hoc duties and reporting
