Job Description

We are offering a new role for an Accounts and HR Support professional to join a rapidly growing business in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As part of a tight-knit team, you will support a variety of functions related to finance and human resources, playing a key part in the operational efficiency of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and processing payments, ensuring accurate invoicing
  • Recording financial transactions and managing accounts in Sage 50 (proficiency required)
  • Assisting with financial planning and forecasting
  • Overseeing employee timesheet processing and approval
  • Handling HR-related tasks, including the maintenance of employee records, checking right to work and references, organising interviews
  • Tracking employee leave and holiday entitlements
  • Assisting with recruitment processes and preparing relevant documents for new hires
  • Performing various administrative and operational tasks as required
  • Responding to professional enquiries via phone and email, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with external partners and clients
 
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in both accounting and HR roles is essential
  • Strong proficiency in using Sage 50 Accounts (3 years)
  • High literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff and external partners
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must
