We are a dynamic and growing logistics company dedicated to providing excellent customer service and efficient delivery solutions. We are looking for a reliable and experienced 7.5T Multi-Drop Lorry Driver to join our expanding team. If you enjoy driving, meeting new people, and ensuring timely deliveries, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5T lorry to deliver goods to various locations.
- Perform multi-drop deliveries within a defined geographic area.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete necessary vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including paperwork and delivery notes.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism at all times.
- Follow all relevant driving laws and company policies.
- Handle and unload goods carefully, ensuring they reach their destination in good condition.
- Valid UK driving license with a category C1 (7.5T) entitlement.
- Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.
- Previous experience in multi-drop driving is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to handle manual loading and unloading of goods.
- A good understanding of road safety and relevant driving regulations.
- Knowledge of the local delivery area.
- Experience with delivery management systems or apps.
