Job Title: BFC Driver and Warehouse Operative
Location: Redditch
Hours: 38.5 (08:30-17:00 M-T) & (08:30-15.30F)
Salary: £25,833.60
Purpose: The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including but not limited to:
- Goods in and out processing
- Forklift operation
- Organising stock and ensuring warehouse cleanliness
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading various types of transport
- Completing and processing necessary paperwork for goods
Additionally, the role involves driving duties across multiple company sites, including:
- Delivering goods to customers
- Restocking KANBAN and Bin Systems at customer sites
- Collecting goods from suppliers and third-party partners
- Ensuring company vehicles are maintained in a clean and tidy condition
Key Responsibilities:- Waste Management: Uphold company waste and recycling standards to reduce environmental impact and costs.
- Cleanliness: Ensure the warehouse, equipment, and vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained.
- Inter-site Support: Be willing to assist other company sites when required.
- Fleet Management: Use equipment safely and responsibly, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
- Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock levels, support stock checks, and assist with restocking customer sites.
- Deliveries: Verify accuracy of orders before dispatching.
Skills and Requirements:- Full UK driving licence, able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles (Essential)
- Forklift (Counterbalance) experience (Desirable, training can be provided)
- Proficiency in using PCs (Essential)
- Strong communication skills (Essential)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently or as part of a team (Essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards (Essential)
- Good command of English, both written and verbal (Essential)
- Willingness to learn new skills (Essential)
