Location: Redditch
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:30am – 1:30pm
Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy and well-established engineering company based in Redditch. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to secure long-term employment, with the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG welding and fabrication of steel components to engineering drawings
- Use of hand tools and fabrication machinery
- Quality-checking finished work to ensure accuracy
- Working independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
- Own transport preferred due to location
