Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)

£50,000/year
3-shift rotating pattern (AM, PM, Nights), Monday to Friday

Opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a Worcester based Manufacturing business. The role involves working on a weekly rotating 3-shift pattern, covering 24-hour production. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to their work and be committed to driving continuous improvement in the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting preventative maintenance on production machinery.
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
Initiating and driving a culture of continuous improvement
Supporting improvement actions and working collaboratively within the team.
Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a production/factory environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing and maintaining centrifugal and lobe pumps.
Competency in electrical systems; experience in hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 3-shift rotating pattern.
Proactive mind-set with a willingness to take ownership of improvement initiatives.
