Van Driver Required
 
Based out of our prestigious client in Haydock, Duties include delivering a mix of ambient and temperature controlled pharmaceutical products to hospitals, care homes and chemists as well as delivering much needed products to people’s homes. You will be expected to act as a key ambassador for our client, so need to be able to deal with customers in a professional and courteous way. For home deliveries, delivery notes should be followed to the letter and only delivered to the specified location on the trip sheet.  This could be anything between 20 and 40 drops 
 
For temperature-controlled deliveries- the drivers will be responsible for loading the vehicle themselves each morning, which will typically be selecting the correct boxes/products from within the warehouse.
 
For non-temperature controlled deliveries, vehicles are preloaded. Training is provided. 
Working pattern
 
The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, any start time between 0500 to 0700. The may be an option to work weekend of which reflects the higher pay rate
 
DBS checking
All drivers working on site require a DBS check of which will be carried out prior to starting your role however you will be permitted to commence your assignment prior to your DBS results being received.
