Job Description
Pertemps Crewe are currently looking for a Forklift Driver to work out of their brand-new client based in Middlewich.
For this Forklift Driver role, you will be responsible for:
- Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE)
- Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
- Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch and quantity
- Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork
- Sort outbound freight based on carrier lane assignments
- Over-box pallets, wrap pallets and strap pallets in preparation for shipment
- Perform clean-up activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness
For this Forklift Driver role, you will need:
- Counterbalance Licence
- Experience within this role previously
- Good work history
- Must be flexible to work weekends if needed paid at an enhanced rate
Details of this FLT Role:
Days/Hours of work: Rotating shifts, 6am-2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am
Pay rate: Pay varies from £12.56PH - £26.26PH
Location: Middlewich
Duration: Ongoing, with a view to be taken on permanent for the right candidate
