Information Rights Officer

Pertemps are delighted to be working with our public sector organisation to recruit for 3 Information Rights Officers on a temporary basis.

Role - Information Rights Officer
Location - Edinburgh City Centre
Duration - 3 months, with possible extension
Hours - Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
Pay rate - £16.37 per hour
Start date - as soon as possible

The successful candidates will be working as part of an established team to support individuals exercise their information rights under various legislations.

You will be carrying out, but not be limited to:

• Coordinating and responding to requests for information, in particular subject access requests
• Requesting information from stakeholders
• Reviewing information
• Redacting information to meet requirements
• Preparing information for disclosure
• Preparing and provided reporting to management
• Reviewing risks
• Any other duties as required

You should have a proven track record in a similar role, handling subject access requests. You should have excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal and have strong attention to detail.
