Technical Network are working in partnership with a market leading manufacturer who are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to lead advanced engineering within their new modern facility in the West Midlands. 
Senior Quality Engineer – Advanced Quality
Salary: to £50000 + benefits
Location: West Midlands ( commutable from Wolverhampton, North Birmingham, Stafford, Cannock, Telford, Shrewsbury areas)
Leading a small team of Advanced Quality Engineers you will responsible for leading Advanced Quality Engineering Process that assures the introduction of products and processes that fully meet organizational goals, stated customer requirements and warranty performance goals.
Duties:
Your responsibilities as an Advanced Quality Engineer will include:
o Leads the activities of APQP cross-functional teams within the program launch process for the product group/region.
o Acts as the Voice of Customer and supports interface requirements with all internal and external stakeholders
o Lead design review for both tooling and product, gauge & fixture design and poka yoke systems deployment
o Ensure Design and Process FMEA; APQP, PPAP measures are managed effectively
o Support the problem-solving activities during new product development
Experience:
Applications are sought from Senior Quality Engineering professionals with a strong background in NPI Projects and Advanced Quality Engineering processes and deployment.
o Time served or degree qualified engineer ( HNC/ Degree, MSc )
o Experience leading advanced quality engineering activities ideally gained within an automotive business
o Proven knowledge of defining and leading process capability, gauge and fixture design, error proofing activity to achieve success product launch
o Strong GD&T and metrology knowledge
o Knowledge of industrial manufacturing process and automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Gauge R&R).
