Production Planning & Logistics Manager

Global Manufacturer in Cheshire are looking for an Interim Production Planning Manager who has a strong change management ethos, strong experience of working in a high volume manufacturing environment & the ability to cover a minimum of 6 months on an interim basis either to work directly for the business or as a contractor outside IR35. 

Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain; the role of Production Planning Manager will need someone who has a proven track record in material and production planning, material storage & transport & logistics functions. Ideally strong knowledge of ERP systems too: (SAP is the ideal). They will also consider Planning contractors for the role. 

Role: Interim Production Planning & Logistics Manager 
Salary: Day Rate Negotiable (Strong Package) 
Location: Cheshire 

The key requirements for the Production Planning & Logistics Manager will be:- 

• Capable of understanding requirements of end to end supply chain working from sales forecasting data, Material Planning, Production Planning, material storage & transport/logistics functions
• Experience of ERP systems usage ideally implementation. SAP is preferred. 
• Experience of working within a highly regulated manufacturing environments 
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills 
• Experience of turning around an underperforming supply chain department, effect positive change through coaching, utilising of data and structured process improvement approach
