About the Role:
We are seeking a knowledgeable Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to oversee the quality assurance and compliance of our Level 5 and Level 7 Leadership Apprenticeships, which include the National Professional Qualifications (NPQs). In this pivotal role, you will ensure our programmes meet the highest standards, support tutor development, and facilitate successful apprentice outcomes.
Typical Apprenticeship Programmes Include:
• School Leader Programme: Level 5 Apprenticeship with NPQSL
• Executive Leader Programme: Level 7 Apprenticeship with NPQEL
• Headteacher Programme: Level 7 Apprenticeship with NPQH

Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Assurance: Oversee internal quality assurance for Level 5 and Level 7 Apprenticeships, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, including ESFA regulations and Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework.
• NPQ Integration: Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of NPQs within apprenticeship programmes, aligning content and delivery with NPQ frameworks.
• Teaching & Assessment Observation: Conduct regular observations and provide constructive feedback to tutors to improve teaching quality.
• Moderation & Standardisation: Lead assessment moderation, ensuring consistency and fairness across cohorts. Facilitate standardisation meetings and share best practices.
• Tutor Development: Provide continuous support and professional development for tutors, including induction training and ensuring accurate maintenance of CPD logs.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor programme performance, prepare reports for the Quality Manager, and contribute to self-assessment and quality improvement plans.
• Compliance & Audit Preparation: Ensure all aspects of programme delivery comply with ESFA, Ofsted, and other regulatory bodies. Maintain thorough records for external audits.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver an excellent learner experience.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance the quality of apprenticeship programmes and NPQs, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Safeguarding & Equality: Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all areas of programme delivery.

Skills and Experience:
• Experience: Proven experience in a quality assurance role within education, training, or apprenticeships, particularly in leadership programmes.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of NPQs and their integration into leadership apprenticeships, alongside regulatory compliance with ESFA and Ofsted.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Organisation: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Digital Competency: Proficiency in digital learning platforms, Microsoft 365, and other relevant software packages.
• Qualifications: A recognised Internal Quality Assurance qualification and a teaching qualification.
• Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel for observation and standardisation meetings.
