Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of government-funded and commercial training programmes. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with employers, and expanding partnerships to promote Apprenticeships, Diplomas, Short Courses, and Commercial Training.

Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the Work-Based Learning & Skills sector.
- Build and maintain strong employer relationships, understanding their training needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Promote and sell Apprenticeships, Diplomas, Short Courses, and Commercial Training.
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve growth targets.
- Engage with local and national employers, identifying opportunities for training delivery.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of training programmes.
- Attend networking events, employer meetings, and industry forums to drive brand awareness and partnerships.
- Stay up to date with funding regulations and government initiatives to advise clients on available training solutions.

What We’re Looking For:
βœ” A proven track record in Business Development within the Work-Based Learning and Skills sector.
βœ” A natural hunter with the ability to generate and convert new business opportunities.
βœ” Strong understanding of government-funded training programmes, including Apprenticeships, Diplomas, Short Courses, and Commercial Training.
βœ” Ability to build long-term employer relationships and drive revenue growth.
βœ” A self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
βœ” Full UK driving licence and own vehicle – essential for employer visits and business development activities.
