The Role
As a Teaching Support Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor, you'll coach and guide learners across:
β€’ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
β€’ Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant
β€’ Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager
You’ll deliver engaging training, assess progress, and provide tailored support to help learners succeed – both in their roles and through End-Point Assessment.

Key Responsibilities
β€’ Conduct initial assessments and create tailored learning plans
β€’ Deliver training sessions (virtual and in-person), covering Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours
β€’ Provide guidance on safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, and career development
β€’ Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement of portfolios and qualifications
β€’ Deliver or support Functional Skills (Maths and English) as needed
β€’ Collaborate with employers to support learning in the workplace
β€’ Identify and support Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
β€’ Ensure accurate documentation and compliance reporting
β€’ Promote online safety, mental health awareness, and career development
β€’ Stay up to date with standards through CPD and standardisation activities

About You
Essential:
β€’ A recognised teaching qualification (ideally Level 5 or equivalent)
β€’ Experience as a Teacher, TA, or Education Manager
β€’ Proven track record of managing performance through people
β€’ Level 2 (or above) qualifications in Maths and English
β€’ Strong knowledge of apprenticeships and the education sector
β€’ Confident in using digital platforms, ePortfolios, and IT systems
Desirable:
β€’ Assessor (CAVA), IQA
