Junior Sales Engineer EMC

Pertemps Daventry is currently recruiting for an Exciting opportunity for a Junior Sales Engineer - EMC based at one of our prestigious Hi -Tech Automotive Engineering companies based in the heart of Silverstone the heart of British Motor Racing.

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Driving is essential due to the location
Starting Salary £25,000pa with a progression plan after completion of 6 month probation period.

Experience and Learn the knowledge in the world of EMC Electromagnetic Compatibility testing in the Automotive Industry.

This is not a typical Sales role, it is not commission based, it is a technical role where you will need to understand the products that are tested, then translate the customer requirements into a formal plan for the EMC Technicians to follow and provide a price to their customers based on a defined price list.

Job Responsibilities.
As part of the Technical Sales Team, you would deal with RFQs ( requests for quotations, this is generated by the Business Development Manager or recieved into the Sales inbox directly from customers.
There is NO cold calling involved.

You will play a key part in generating technical quotations with support from the sales team, based on Customer information.

Full training will be given by the Senior Sales Engineers and this is where you will learn about the world of EMC.

Candidates requirements:

• A Level or equivalent in Maths/Science or Engineering - A Degree would be advantageous
• Must have a Technical and Engineering aptitude.
• Previous Experience of the Automotive industry/Engineering/Electronics/12v Automotive products or a relevant job experience would help demonstrate this.
• Customer Driven Person
• Good Telephone Manner
• Excellent English written and Verbal communications
• Attention to detail
• Working to tight deadlines
