Operations Director

Pertemps Daventry is currently recruiting for an Operations Director in the Automotive Production Industry based in Northamptonshire.
 
As our new Operations Director, you will be at the forefront of our business transformation, driving operational efficiency, and instilling a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Your mission is to resolve pressing operational challenges, optimize processes, and build a high-performing team.
 
Monday to Friday
 
Salary £60,000 to £70,000pa Dependant on Experience
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Overhaul & Space Optimization
• Culture & Leadership Development
• Staff Training and Automation
• Process Improvement and Compliance
• Performance Management and KPIs
• Budget & Cost Control
• Health and Safety Leadership

Immediate Challenges:

• Redesign the warehouse and production space for optimal efficiency.
• Shift the culture from one of minimal effort to proactive engagement and accountability.
• Streamline and standards processes across the business to ensure consistency and quality.
• Improve team collaboration to enhance productivity without increasing headcount.
• Define and review the needs and challenges of warehouse and logistics as well as automated and manual production.

 
Candidate Requirements:

• Proven track record of leading business transformations.
• Experience in Automotive Manufacturing or a Production environment.
• Strategic thinker
• Lead by Example not scared to roll up your sleeves
• Tackle Operational challenges head-on but also think outside the box
• An Inspiring leader who can foster a culture of excellence continuous improvement, and Accountability.
