Pertemps Maidstone are recruiting for an experienced Account Executive on behalf of a dynamic and innovative client who is committed to delivering exceptional customer services within the insurance sector. The Account Executive is responsible for providing quotations for new business and renewals.

Please Note: This is not a remote role.
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 (35hrs)
Salary: Depending on experience
Contract: Permanent

Whilst experience in Insurance Brokering is advantageous, a sales or business development background would also be considered.
You should be keen to demonstrate your analytical skills, have meticulous attention to detail and be confident in your judgement and decision-making.
In your Executive role you will be leading by example and become a referral point for assistants.
You will exceed sales targets and ensure client retention by communicating and negotiating with clients over the phone and via e-mail.

You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working within a broking or underwriting environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer services throughout the client's journey with you.
Understand all processes and procedures to allow you to present all relevant information to the client, allowing them to make informed decisions.
Ensure telephone calls and e-mails are answered in a timely manner.
Update and maintain documentation to ensure accuracy.

Skills

Cert CII Qualification is desired.
Proficient with Microsoft packages.
Positive attitude with the ability to self-motivate.
Articulate & Numerate.
Honesty, integrity, reputation, competence, and financial soundness as required under the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Guernsey Financial Service Commission (GFSC)
