3.5t Van Delivery Driver

We are currently looking for a reliable 3.5t multi-drop van driver for our client in Swanley.

As a 3.5t multi-drop van driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations across Essex, London and the Southeast. You will work alongside a driver’s mate, handling the loading and unloading of the van, ensuring all deliveries are completed on time, and maintaining top-notch customer service.

Pay: £14 per hour

This is a temporary role however, temp-to-perm opportunities available for the right candidate.

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 7am to 4pm (weekend shifts are on a rota basis)

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete multiple deliveries each day, ensuring goods are delivered to the correct locations on time (typically 10-15 drops depending on the route).
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean, and presentable.
• Report any issues to management immediately.
• Safely load and unload goods, taking care to prevent any damage.
• Provide exceptional customer service, being polite, professional, and helpful in all customer interactions.
• Maintain clear communication with both our client and their customers.

About You:

• Must hold a valid UK manual driving licence with category B entitlement (for vehicles up to 3.5t).
• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving is preferred but not required.
• Physically fit, as the role involves lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a friendly, professional attitude.
