Assembly Technician

Pertemps are working with a local manufacturer in Hemel Hempstead who are looking for an Assembly Technician to join their growing production site. The successful candidate will join an established production team building their unique, industry leading products. A background in mechanical engineering and experience in a workshop environment with manual and powered tooling is an advantage but not mandatory. Full on-site training will be provided.

Assembly Technician Responsibilities:

- Assemble components and sub-assemblies following detailed work instructions.
- Utilize manual and powered tooling in a workshop environment.
- Conduct quality checks on components and alert the shop foreman to any assembly issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve assembly processes and product design.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment

Pay: £25,000 per annum rising to £27,040 after probation. Performance Bonuses available

Expected hours: 40 per week
