Pertemps are currently looking for a Trainee Service Technician to join their client based in the Houndmills area of Basingstoke. We are looking for someone who is looking to build a stable long-term career, has a passion for engineering and enjoys solving problems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out service work on compressors

- Testing equipment and correctly recording data

- Writing service reports on equipment

- Providing technical assistance and trouble-shooting issues with equipment

- General housekeeping of area

- 37.5 hours a week working Monday to Friday with overtime available



Requirements for the role:



- Good electrical/mechanical knowledge (qualification is desirable but not essential)

- Experience working with Refrigeration equipment is Desirable

- Ability to function as part of a team

- Diligent and conscientious attitude with the ability to prioritise a busy workload

- Ability to work unsupervised

- Responsible and mature attitude

- Well organised
