Working closely with the Head of Buying, you will develop relationships with new and existing suppliers whilst ensuring maximum value and efficiency for the business.
Job Details:- Salary is competitive depending on experience.
- This is a permanent position.
- Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 17:30pm

Responsibilities of the FMCG Buyer:- You will have primary accountability for maximising sales, margin & profitability in this fast moving and diverse category
- You will lead a team building long term supplier relationships to deliver a successful product offer
- You will have ultimate responsibility for the implementation of the product strategy and ensuring that the business meets with customer needs
- You will monitor & review competitor information to ensure your product offering stays relevant in a changing market
- You will play a lead role in range reviews, supplier negotiations, promotions & pricing
- You will work with your cross-functional team to ensure we deliver great product availability and quality
Essential Skills & Requirements of the FMCG Buyer: - You need will need to have experience of buying
- You will need FMCG experience
- Have developed an excellent understanding of the consumer and of the marketplace.
- Have the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Have developed first rate strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- A true team player underpinned with great interpersonal skills
- Have the ability build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
