Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Food Production Team Leader to grow and develop their own teams.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, training and mentoring a team of production operatives to achieve daily production targets and deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Train staff on procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues swiftly to maintain seamless operations
• Ensure all food safety and quality standards are met, adhering to industry regulation.
• Oversee production processes, identifying and implementing improvements for efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments/shifts to streamline operations and enhance productivity
• Working alongside operatives to ensure targets are adhered to.

Role Overview:
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Hours: 0600 - 0300 or 1500 - 2400
Duration: Temp to perm
Pay: £28,500 - £29,800

Requirements:
Our client is looking for candidates who come from a food production background within a factory setting, providing you with the basic skill set required for this role.
• Proven experience in a team leader role within the food production industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
