Job Description
Are you an experienced FLT Flexi Driver looking to join a dynamic company?
We have an exciting opportunity for an FLT Flexi Driver to work in the Goods In department with our client based in Milton Keynes.
- Location: Milton Keynes
- Salary: £12.50ph
- Hours: 0900 – 1700
- Shift: Monday - Friday
- Start Date: Monday
- Duration: Ongoing, temp to perm available.
The Role
You will be working within a goods in environment within a warehouse, processing received stock.
- Safely operate a Flexi (pivot steer) forklift to unload, move, and store goods.
- Receive deliveries, inspect goods for quality and accuracy, and update inventory records on a computer.
- Organise and maintain stock in designated storage areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care.
- Collaborate with the Goods In team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Conduct daily checks on the forklift and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Flexi (pivot steer) license and proven experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly in Goods In.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately check and record inventory.
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
- Physical fitness to manage manual handling tasks when required.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
