Job Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented and skilled IT Configuration Technician’s to join our clients team in a warehouse production environment. 

You will be responsible for assembling, configuring, and testing systems and related hardware to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble Systems: Follow detailed assembly instructions to build systems.
• Configure Systems: Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and drivers to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of assembled systems to identify and resolve any hardware or software issues.
• Documentation: Create and update documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including warehouse staff and IT support, to ensure smooth production processes and timely delivery of configured systems.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety and quality standards, as well as company policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in computer assembly, configuration, or a related technical role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in assembly. Familiarity with various computer components and peripherals.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and configuration of systems.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move computer equipment and components as needed.

Benefits:

• Monday to Friday
• 8 hours per day with flexible hours.
• Ongoing opportunity.
• £14 – 16ph (dependant on experience)
• Milton Keynes
