Job Description

We're hiring a part-time Analyst to join our Energy & Carbon Management Team! If you are passionate about validating energy invoices, managing metering and data, and driving supplier performance, this role is perfect for you.

What you’ll be doing as an Energy Analyst - Part Time
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, the electricity and natural gas Suppliers and associated meter operators, data collectors.
  • Validating the invoices to pay our suppliers.
  • Energy Data Management - ensuring timely receipt, loading of data, and checking for errors.
  • Updating the energy database with new meter details, tariffs, and location information.
  • Query logging when any issues are found using various supplier systems and processes.
  • Registering and transferring new supplies to the contracts and supporting new connection applications.
  • Manage Purchase Orders over £150m. Manage the payment process within SAP (the company’s finance system).
  • Project management support of metering projects.
  • Supporting contract managers in operating the contracts, highlighting issues, and suggesting process improvements to drive performance.
  • Produce Management Information (MI) reporting from the Energy Management System.
  • Produce ad-hoc and BAU contractual reports. Provide analytical support to the broader team.
  • Communicate directly with the field on Health & Safety processes relating to the contracts.
  • Assisting the Energy & Carbon Management Team business as usual work.
Based in Hybrid, Clearwater Court, you must be in the office up to 3 times a month.
Three days a week, 21.6 hours, flexible on which days

What you should bring to the role
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Excel
  • Be able to review and create data reports
  • Confident in communicating with external and internal stakeholders
  • Analytical thinking with a keen eye for detail
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
