Asset Integration Engineer

The role of the Asset Integration Engineer is essential to delivering quality in the successful and seamless Integration of assets throughout the whole delivery process. The engineer safeguards any site, process, regulatory, and statutory requirements and ensures changes required to operate Thames Water's assets.
  
You will play a vital role in maintaining and expanding our Waste Networks. Working alongside our contractor stakeholders, you will ensure processes are always followed to ensure health and safety is paramount while completing these projects.

What you’ll be doing 

• Monitor compliance with environmental requirements in asset design, delivery, and testing; monitor delivery performance; and work with contractors to address issues and improve. 
• Ensure health and safety are at the forefront of everything completed on our sites. 
• Supporting contractor and Operations liaison during the design process, promoting innovation, best practice, and compliance with quality standards; planning for commissioning as part of the design process, system integration, operability, and maintainability. 
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Overseeing and being included in all projects to ensure everything is completed correctly and to Thames Water standards. 

Hybrid – Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works, but we can be flexible on another base location in the Thames Water patch.
 
36 hours a week, Monday to Friday
 
Must have a driving licence and access to a car.

What you should bring to the role 

• HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or significant experience in a similar role.
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or SMSTS.
• Understanding of the development of design, construction, and operation of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Competitive salary from £40,000 to £55,000 per annum.
• 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays).
