Interim Accountant - Remote Working

Sheridan Maine are currently supporting a key client of ours who is seeking an Interim Accountant to join their Global manufacturing business based in Dorset, initially for a period of 9+ months. 

The purpose of the Interim Accountant role is a general role to support the Head Office Accountant, with a few key areas:

• Month end reporting for 4 entities within the group
• Statutory accounts support
• Cashflow Forecasting
• Audit Support
• Banking including Treasury Transactions and Bank Reconciliations
• AP Support including, supplier Payment Runs and Supplier Account Maintenance
• Intercompany Recharges
• Multicurrency and multicompany accounts
• Reconciliation of AR and AP accounts held internally with other entities
• For the right candidate this role will include other adhoc projects, such as change management

We are looking for either a ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Accountant or an experienced QBE, who can be flexible and adaptable, with broad accounting experience and in return our client can offer support into what is currently a short-term opportunity, yet we believe offers great exposure to further develop in a unique role, which will set itself apart from a mainstream accounting role.
