Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner with our Wiltshire based client in search of a Qualified Accountant to support a dedicated business area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team and contribute to the success of a prestigious and forward-thinking company.
 
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest standards of accounting and financial support for the business. This position offers the opportunity to work in a challenging, yet rewarding environment, where your expertise will be highly valued.
 
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts and ensure discrepancies are promptly resolved.
• Collaborate across departments, particularly with the finance team for efficient and consistent reporting.
• Support the Financial Controller with a range of duties and activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide detailed financial reports and insights to senior management to aid in strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and systems within the property division.
• Support other ad hoc projects and analysis.

 
To be considered for the role of Property Accountant, you will be:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Diligent, thorough, and excellent attention to detail with high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
