Assistant Systems Accountant

A leading UK-based services company with offices nationwide is seeking an Assistant Systems Accountant to join its central finance team. The role involves working within the Finance Systems team, which oversees and maintains the organisation's finance systems.

The key deliverables for the Assistant Systems Accountant include:

• Processing and control of month end activities.
• Maintenance of master data.
• Responding to finance systems requests in a timely manner within agreed SLAs.
• Identifying process or system improvement opportunities.

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Systems Accountant will:

• Have experience in a similar systems accounting role or have finance experience and looking to step in to a systems accounting role.
• Possess a strong aptitude for finance processes and data management.
• Have knowledge of large company ERP systems coupled with change management / continuous improvement experience.
