Finance Officer - Remote Working

Sheridan Maine is managing the recruitment of a Finance Officer for a forward-thinking organisation.  This position is being offered on a fixed term contract for 6 months and would ideally suit someone who has experience of working in a transactional processing environment.
 
The successful candidate will be working remotely, with travel once a month to one of their offices.
 
Responsibilities of the Finance Operations Officer will include:

• Processing and allocating payments
• Issuing sales ledger invoices
• Receiving, posting and reconciling income and posting to customer accounts
• Issuing reminders and chasing outstanding debt
• Processing refunds
• Resolving queries relating to customer accounts
• Direct debit administration
• Posting of write-offs onto the systems
• Supporting internal departments by providing accounts information when required

 
Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

• Experience working in a transactional processing environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to organise and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and time management skills
