Senior Financial Analyst

A leading technology manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Southampton is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to provide value adding analysis and reporting to a key business unit. Supporting the FP&A Manager the key responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include:-
 

• Production of management accounts, analysis and commentary
• Business partnering the manufacturing team reviewing performance and making recommendations for improvements
• Stock reporting, analysis and reconciliations
• New product and capex analysis / investment appraisals
• Supporting the month end close
• Production of KPIs and reporting to Group

 
The successful candidate will ideally:-
 

• Be a qualified accountant, although a late stage studier or QBE would be considered
• Possess excellent analytical and excel skills
• Have previous experience working in manufacturing in a similar analytical / cost accounting role
