Systems Accountant- hybrid

Sheridan Maine are pleased to be working with an organisation in Wiltshire who are currently seeking a Systems Accountant to join their head office finance department.
 
Reporting to the Finance Director, duties of the Systems Accountant include:
 

• Create and maintain robust financial planning systems
• Oversee and improve the functionality/efficiency of the finance system
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create an enhanced model for budgeting and reporting
• Design and generate accurate financial reports
• Review and prepare management accounts reports ensuring they meet the organisations needs
• Provide ongoing support/ training and troubleshooting for systems users to enhance system utilisation

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience in developing the functionality of finance systems
• Strong understanding of financial processes and systems
• Be comfortable working within a team environment
• Have excellent communication skills
• Either be a qualified Accountant or qualified by experience with relevant knowledge
• Good technical accounting knowledge
