Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a dynamic and growing Bournemouth-based business that is seeking a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for individuals who are either AAT Level 3/4 qualified or qualified by experience (QBE), looking for the next step in their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
 
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Produce and review aged credit reports and reconcile supplier statements.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
• Process the weekly payroll process and handle employee inquiries, ensuring accurate calculation and timely submission of payroll taxes to HMRC.
• Manage and mentor the Purchase Ledger Clerk, promoting process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Assist with audit and year end queries.

 
The successful Management Accountant:

• AAT Level 3/4 qualified or QBE.
• Experience of supervising staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• End to end payroll experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
