Assistant Accountant

A new temporary Assistant Accountant position has arisen for a well known Andover based business.
 
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following duties:
 

• Processing invoices and setting up supplier payments
• Credit card and petty cash reconciliations
• Processing staff expenses
• Cash allocations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Posting journals
• Assisting with month end duties

 
The desired candidate will have competent IT skills and have prior experience in a similar role undertaking a broad range of tasks. Candidates available at short notice would be preferred.
