Accounts Payable Clerk

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client based in Central London. The position is ideal for someone looking for a short-term assignment with the potential to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced finance department.
 
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk include:

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Matching, batching, and coding invoices.
• Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
• Reconciling supplier statements and assisting with month-end close processes.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

 
Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
