Financial Reporting Manager

A fast paced and high growth private equity backed business is recruiting a Financial Reporting Manager to work closely with the Head of Reporting, taking ownership of external financial reporting and the internal controls environment. This role would suit a career minded practice trained accountant with some pqe gained in practice or industry looking for their next progressional career move. The company offer hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home), a generous bonus scheme and excellent development opportunties.
 
The key responsibilities for the Financial Reporting Manager include: 

• Producing and reviewing financial statements.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors, managing the audit process and resolving audit queries.
• Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and SOX controls.
• Production of technical papers.
• Working with the finance team to ensure correct accounting treatments.
• Ad hoc project work and analysis as well as supporting and covering for the Head of Reporting.

 
The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate experience in a Financial Reporting or Audit Manager role.
• Possess strong technical reporting knowledge (IFRS).
• Ideally have experience of implementing internal controls and SOX.
• Be a qualified ACA / ACCA accountant with a number of years pqe gained in industry or practice.
