A fast paced and high growth private equity backed business is recruiting a Financial Reporting Manager to work closely with the Head of Reporting, taking ownership of external financial reporting and the internal controls environment.
This role would suit a career-minded, practice-trained accountant with some PQE gained in practice or industry, who is looking for their next progressive career move. The company offer hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home), a generous bonus scheme and excellent development opportunities.
The key responsibilities for the Financial Reporting Manager include:
- Producing and reviewing financial statements.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors, managing the audit process and resolving audit queries.
- Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and SOX controls.
- Production of technical papers.
- Working with the finance team to ensure correct accounting treatments.
- Ad hoc project work and analysis as well as supporting and covering for the Head of Reporting.
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate experience in a Financial Reporting or Audit Manager role.
- Possess strong technical reporting knowledge (IFRS).
- Ideally have experience of implementing internal controls and SOX.
- Be a qualified ACA / ACCA accountant with a number of years pqe gained in industry or practice.
