Sheridan Maine is partnering with a Bristol-based client to recruit a talented Assistant Management Accountant for a permanent role. Your responsibilities as the Assistant Management Accountant will include:- Oversee month-end close and deliver monthly/quarterly P&Ls
- Drive problem-solving and process improvements
- Review P&Ls with Operations and Finance teams to support financial performance insights for investors
- Prepare monthly management accounts and compare to Budget/Forecast
- Complete accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Deliver business and financial analysis as needed
- Support property audits by addressing auditor requests promptly
- Assist with new property setups or disposals
- Respond to property investor queries
- Provide support to other departments as required
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:- Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or fully qualified AAT
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance team
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with month-end processes
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Confident, proactive, and excellent communicator
- Self-motivated with initiative
