Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with variance analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting and working capital requirements.
• Manage the preparation of year-end accounts and coordinate with external auditors.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns along with other statutory filings, ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Maintain strong financial controls and implement improvements where necessary to enhance operational efficiency.
• Supervise and develop the finance team, providing coaching and support for their growth and development.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and reporting.

 
Key requirements of the successful Finance Manager:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within a similar-sized organisation.
• Ability to manage a team effectively.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
