Sheridan Maine is excited to partner with a forward-thinking and growing business to recruit a Regulation Monitoring and Reporting Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team while developing your career in a supportive and innovative environment.
 
After the initial training period this position offers a hybrid working pattern (2 days office / 3 days home), with some flexibility on start & finish times.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assess regulatory and prospectus breaches and incidents, liaising with Investment Managers, the Depositary, and the Compliance team.
• Update fund risk warnings for regulatory documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy of reports before filing.
• Review asset eligibility, due diligence responses, and pricing.
• Participate in Investment & Fund Risk meetings and present findings to committees.

 
Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• The ability to investigate and solve problems
• Strong interest in investments with a commitment to pursuing relevant professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with intermediate Excel skills.
• Familiarity with financial services through work experience or education.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities under pressure.

• Analytical, organized, and methodical in your approach to work.
• Friendly, professional, and confident when interacting across various levels of seniority.
