The Role:This position will see you playing a vital role in supporting the finance team and wider business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and providing valuable insight to support business decisions.
Your responsibilities as the Financial Accountant will include:- Preparation of multi-branch management accounts (multiple P&Ls, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations)
- Preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Preparation of statutory accounts for audit.
- Budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Preparation of financial information for board meetings.
- Working with business MDs and non-finance leadership
To be considered for the role of Group Accountant, you will require:- Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE (Qualified by Experience).
- An excellent grasp of accounting fundamentals and reporting skills, able to put together monthly management accounts
- Strong communication skills, confident to work with senior managing directors and non-financial management.
- Diligent, inquisitive and a problem-solver
