Sheridan Maine is collaborating with our client to recruit a Finance Assistant. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
Your responsibilities as the Finance Assistant will include:- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Handle invoice processing, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Work with automated processes.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve financial inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide administrative assistance to the finance team as required.
The successful Finance Assistant will require the following skills and experience:- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience in a finance or accounting role is beneficial.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is an advantage.
