Head of Strategic Accounts and Commercial Finance

Sheridan Maine is excited to partner with our client, an established global organisation, to recruit a Head of Strategic Accounts and Commercial Finance for their Dubai-based office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation and drive financial strategy across key global accounts.
 
Your responsibilities as the Head of Strategic Accounts and Commercial Finance, will include:

• Lead financial management for global strategic accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
• Collaborate with operational teams and senior leaders to drive business growth, providing financial insights to support decision-making and enhance overall financial performance.
• Review financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure the business stays on track to meet its goals.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations, while liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders such as banks and suppliers.
• Mentor and lead a small finance team, providing support for ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and client discussions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, acting as the primary finance partner and advisor for global strategic accounts.

 
To be considered for this role, you will require the following qualifications and experience:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and a minimum of 10 years of accounting experience.
• Strong experience in financial management and business partnering within global organisations.
• Experience of managing a finance department.
• Proven experience in client management, particularly in handling and resolving conflicts.
