This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly successful manufacturing environment, supporting key financial processes and partnering with operational teams.
Hybrid working arrangement (4 days in the office & 1 day from home) with an early finish on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include: - Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts pack, ensuring all reporting deadlines are consistently met.
- Provide detailed analysis and reports on key financial trends
- Manage daily cash flow & weekly forecasting
- Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis to support decision making
- Oversea corporation tax & VAT returns
- Maintain the fixed assets register and nominal accounts
- Conduct detailed reporting and analytical tasks to inform decision-making.
Key skills and experience of the Management Accountant: - Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA) or finalist / QBE with relevant experience
- Previous management accounting experience, within a manufacturing, defence or engineering environment is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong grasp of financial systems.
- Strong communication skills – ability to collaborate across all levels
- Proficiency in analysing, interpreting, and presenting financial data clearly and concisely.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
