Sheridan Maine is partnering with an award-winning, fast-growing business to recruit a Finance Manager for their high-performing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of financial and management reporting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
 
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:

• Oversee month-end processes, including journal preparation, accruals, and prepayments.
• Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial reports.
• Manage VAT control, fixed asset register, and depreciation schedules.
• Review batched payments and ensure financial accuracy.
• Oversee contract master management and retention control.
• Support cash flow forecasting and project financial planning.
• Assist with ad hoc financial management tasks as required.

 
The successful Finance Manager will require:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong financial and management reporting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (Xero preferred).
