Job Description

Are you a highly organised and motivated individual who is a team player and able to work independently? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The role will be part of the TW Strategic Resource Option (SRO) portfolio team which is responsible for the development of several major projects that will improve resilience to drought and minimise interruptions to water supplies in the South East whilst protecting the environment.

Whilst sitting in the Procurement, Supply Chain and Digital functions, you will work with colleagues across the portfolio team and other corporate functions to ensure activities across the team are well coordinated and supported. This may include setting up meetings, supply chain interactions, diary management and document management.


What you’ll be doing as a Team Coordinator

You will be supporting the team to ensure the activities undertaken remain on time and within budget.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation to be in the office at least 2 days a week in Camelford House, Vauxhall.
  • Oversee the team, ensuring there is coordination across the different specialisms within the portfolio.
  • Provide general administration support to your colleagues, including editing and formatting of contractual documentation.
  • Supporting with document management and control, recording of and responding to project and contract correspondence.
  • Provide support as a secretariat taking minutes and actions at team meetings.
  • Support with managing the team's budget and supply chain, raising and receipting orders and invoices in the SAP finance system.
  • Support key programme activities, such as public engagement events.
  • Support with the administration of the team's Conflict-of-Interest registers.
  • Assist with the onboarding and welcome of new Thames Water employees into the SRO Procurement, Supply Chain and Digital team.

What you should bring to the role
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Grade C and above.
  • Previous office administrative experience.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing several diaries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fully proficient at using IT systems, including SharePoint. SAP experience would be beneficial.
  • Be a team player and support co-workers.
  • Be a proactive worker with the ability to take initiative.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment to meet project timescales.
  • Be able to travel within the patch to support project activities.
  • Be flexible and resilient to deal with project challenges.
  • Be a commercially minded individual with an interest in digital.

  • Offering between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on skills and previous relevant experience.
